The university is also home to successful engineers from the fictional world, too; The Big Bang Theory’s Howard Wolowitz (played by Simon Helberg) is supposedly employed by Caltech. It feels amazing to be a huge part of a school that is changing daily. With the global and domestic demand for STEM graduates higher than ever, it’s fair to say that a career in engineering is a good bet. The whole school feels like one big family. I love the fact that most of the new buildings within the 2020 Project have dorm style buildings with classrooms and educational spaces on the bottom floor of the building. It is a place characterized by students who care about learning and are eager to help out each other.

I love that at CSULB I am taught by professors who really care about my education and who push me to succeed on a daily basis.
