This is the book I’ve been looking for. It is a great way to bring up how we feel and what makes us feel this way with children. This book is very short and simple, probably best for children aged approximately 3-5. I just got him The Way I Act (ages 4-8) and he's really enjoying it as well. The Way I Feel is a nonfiction picture book for children ages 2-8 years old. But, I am glad that I returned to one of my favorites for this #BookaDay challenge. I love the illustrations as well, and this is definitely a book for the classroom library. My son's OT recommended this for him - he has ASD and can struggle to articulate his feelings or even recognise them. Because she's a mom, Janan Cain knew she had a marketable concept for her first book. I like how the story labeled so many different emotions. The cover is a great attention grabber which is why I think it would do well in the classroom. My favorite part of the story was thanksful.
